What is The Beauty Hub at Berkeley?

Founded in Fall 2023, The Beauty Hub was initially established to support independent beauty business owners. The organization emerged in response to the surge of student-run beauty services—such as nail techs, lash techs, and makeup artists—following the COVID-19 outbreak. The Beauty Hub was thus created by a professional makeup artist to provide beauty-related business consulting. The organization offers young entrepreneurs guidance in areas like social media management, pricing strategies, and contract development. Additionally, The Beauty Hub cultivates a community of beauty enthusiasts who support their local student entrepreneurs, fostering a unique "students helping students" dynamic. Today, The Beauty Hub continues to expand through strategic content creation, professional development events, and diverse opportunities for its members.
